we all had a chance to read what other people have to say on whether we still

From my point of view on what I have heard and
read about how technology now influencing our everyday life it seems like
everything is now being done online, shopping, announcements, entertainment and
communication. By the use of new technology it can strengthened the profession
of journalism and make it easy to communicate, you can check the statistics on

It is obvious that journalist need to change as
the environment is also changing, from the previous opinions that were posted
on the last blog we might also ask ourselves what kind of journalists do we need and why should journalists make use of technology upgrades like social media? Well
from the knowledge that I have on social media and the profession of journalism
I think I can share some information.
Here are some tips on how journalism can make
use of social media, social media can be used as a source of information, and
journalists use it to generate news of interests to their public's because it
enables them to find out what their public's are taking about and engage with them.
Secondly social media is best tool for building
and sustaining relationships with their targeted audiences, one might ask how
will relationships be sustained by use of social media? Well social media offers
a platform were information can be exchanged so that can be beneficial to
journalism because journalists will be able to hear their public's opinions and
generate news that will fit the audience and also by having conversations
regularly. Therefore it will be wise for journalists to use it in their
advantage be where the audience are so
that people do not replace the journalists position with social media.

I think the only contrast is that journalists need to prompt using the power of social media to enhance their skills. Traditional media is still relevant too because all these mediums have different purpose for different targets.

Well Gordon I think you have point, every media is there to serve different topic but most of the things that are done by traditional media are being replace by electronical media so that is why we see most of the people finding it easy to do things online.

ReplyDeleteI honestly think that Journalists are still relevant and important nowadays because even though traditional media is slowly decreasing,but nowadays journalists make use of social media and we hear all about these breaking stories and events on social media because we follow journalists and they live tweet all the time on what is happening around us..So therefore journalism is the way to go and will never die at all!!!
